New dates fixed for AgQuip 2021

Premier farm field days set to run from November 16 to 18

After being forced to postpone this year’s event from its original dates in August due to New South Wales’ COVID-19 outbreak, AgQuip field days organiser, ACM Rural Events, has fixed new dates for the event and is hopeful for a successful run this time around.

The agricultural field days, one of Australia’s largest, will now be held on November 16, 17 and 18 with organisers promising an event "like never before".

ACM Rural Events group manager, Kate Nugent, said it was important for the committee to consult with exhibitors and key stakeholders in the face of current COVID uncertainty before making the final call.

"We have been encouraged to make a call on new AgQuip dates this calendar year, as we know without the exhibitors we have no show," she said.

"We all understand no timing will be ideal for us at the end of this year, however, every effort and emphasis will be placed on marketing AgQuip 2021 to a broader regional audience.

"Whilst AgQuip will be in the midst of harvest, we are hopeful the timing maximises our opportunity to offer all a super-charged attendance feeling confident and safe - and incentivising purchases on the field in a conducive rural environment over the days of this special event."

ACM Rural Events said it will continue to monitor federal and state government advice and continue discussions with NSW Public Health and the NSW Police to plan its COVIDSafe event in November.
