New Holland CR combines updated

Next-gen combines bring real-time insights, automation and lifetime connectivity to the 2025/26 harvest

New Holland has unveiled its next-generation CR combine harvesters for the upcoming season, sharpening its focus on real-time data, automation and whole-of-fleet visibility as farmers look to lift productivity and tighten operating margins.

The updated combines introduce a redesigned in-cab technology platform aimed at making harvest data easier to access, interpret and act on while machines are working in the paddock.

“We’ve completely redesigned the system in the cab, with new wiring, new sensors, and all CNH-designed components,” said New Holland ANZ Head of Precision Technology, Jeremy Duniam.

Central to the upgrade is the new IntelliView 12 display, a 12-inch high-processing-power touchscreen that replaces previous interfaces with a faster, more modern layout.

The display works in tandem with IntelliSense, New Holland’s in-combine automation system that continuously fine-tunes machine performance by adjusting settings such as speed and throughput to suit changing crop conditions.

All machine and yield data is then pushed into the FieldOps platform, allowing farmers to monitor performance and make any adjustments in real time from a phone or tablet wherever they are.

In a move designed to reduce barriers to adoption, the next-generation CR combines include lifetime connectivity to FieldOps, eliminating the need for ongoing subscription fees.

New Holland is also extending the platform to existing machines, offering the IntelliView Four Plus screen as an upgrade option for legacy equipment to improve processing speed and data handling.

According to New Holland ANZ Product & Portfolio Manager – Crop Harvesting, Marc Smith, the real value of the system lies in what farmers can do with the data once harvest is complete.

“With FieldOps, farmers use their yield and protein data to help shape next year’s seeding prescription,” Smith said. “That’s the beauty of gathering all this data and then being able to put it into a meaningful layout.”

“Farmers can then make informed decisions — whether it’s making life easier, making more money, or making their operation more efficient,” he said.
