Two years after completing its acquisition of hay implement brand, Kongskilde, New Holland finally debuted its brand new range of haymaking tools at several major field days this year.
New Holland said the acquisition allowed the company to fill a significant gap in its hay offerings.
The company had a massive presence at the AgQuip field days this year where it displayed several of its new hay gear. The complete new range includes:
DiscCutter Pendulum Linkage disc mowers with widths from 2.77m to 3.86m offering excellent ground following capabilities, New Holland said. Two models within this range are also available with flail conditioning capability.
A centre pull disc mower conditioner with rubber chevron roller conditioners and a cutting width of 3.11m or 3.52m. This range enables the driver to operate the unit on either side of the tractor for cutting around the field and corners or cutting back & forth, New Holland said. The roller conditioners are segmented so if damage occurs, a segment can be replaced instead of the complete unit. Flail type conditioning is also available with this range.
Single rotor rotary rakes with working widths from 2.9m to 4.45m. This range features durable and easy to remove tine arms for efficient raking and easy transport. The adjustable headstock hitch allows the rake to better follow ground contours.
A ProTed rotary tedder range with widths from 4.5m to 8.8m.
Two new rotor rakes with either centre or side delivery. Centre delivery models range from 6.25m to 8.2m in raking widths while the side delivery models have a raking width from 3.6m to 6.2m.
