Ag equipment dealership, Brown and Hurley, is set to hold a series of demonstration days in August near the rural town of Biloela (Queensland) where farmers will get a chance to hop on and test drive New Holland’s latest range of tractors, including the GENESIS T8 with PLMi.
The event is organised by the dealership’s Rockhampton branch and will run from August 11 to 12, 2021. Some of the models farmers can expect to see include the T7.230 with PLMi, the TD5.100 with loader, TT4.75 with loader and the brand new GENESIS T8 tractor with PLMi, which was teased a couple of years ago at the 2019 AgQuip field days.
The GENESIS T8 was New Holland’s first tractor to be fully integrated with Precision Land Management (PLM) Intelligence, the brand said, and offers power up to 380hp to suit a wide range of applications.
A key feature of the GENESIS T8 is the connectivity it offers, which allows farmers to send, receive and share data easily from within the tractor cab.
It also allows technicians to troubleshoot and fix problems remotely without having to attend the site in person, New Holland said.
Several New Holland representatives will be in attendance at the demo days to help farmers navigate the new tractors and the range of tech they come equipped with.
"Coming out to events like these is a great opportunity for us to support our dealers and also get close to end users to hear the real feedback,” said New Holland Sales Manager, Damian Wirth.
“We are doing this event because we believe giving customers a trial run on the machines before buying allows them to get a better feel for the equipment on the land, rather than in a dealership,” said Brown and Hurley Agriculture’s Jeff Saunders.
“Also, as the technology changes within these machines, we can show our customers hands-on how they can benefit from these tech in the field.”
Brown and Hurley will also be giving away some merchandise bags on both days.
The demo event will be held on Hutchinson Farms’ property, located approximately 5km outside of Biloela.
