New JCB tele smaller with greater reach

JCB Construction Equipment Australia (JCB CEA) has expanded its telescopic handler line-up, with National Materials Handling Manager Greg Sealey claiming the new 525-60 Agri Plus Loadall is small enough to access older farm buildings with doorways under two metres wide, while offering a reach height usually only found on larger telehandlers.

"This machine is ideal for general handling in and around the farm," he says.

"The six-metre lift height makes it very versatile and well suited to tasks like stacking bales."

The 525-60 Agri Plus Loadall has a 2500kg lift capacity and is ideal for small- to medium-sized operations where machine size is an important consideration, says the company.

Standing 1970mm high and with a width of 1840mm, it can access tight spaces like poultry sheds and outbuildings.

A JCB Diesel by Kohler T4 Final engine powers the 525-60 Agri Plus Loadall, and produces up to 300Nm of torque at 1400rpm without requiring DPF or DEF after-treatments.

To enhance engine performance, JCB has installed a wide-core cooling package with a hydraulic reversing fan to remove built-up debris from the cooling pack.

"Loading performance is also improved, with a lift capacity of 800kg at 3.3m forward reach, and for improved load retention and operator comfort the Loadall can be equipped with our optional Smoothride System (SRS), which isolates the boom and load from chassis movements," Sealey says.

JCB's auto bucket control technology is available on the 525-60 Agri Plus Loadall, allowing operators to eject material quickly by rapidly shaking the bucket or muck fork with minimal joystick movement.

Safety features on the new model include a ROPS- and FOPS-certified cab, and an innovative Adaptive Load Control feature that prevents your machine from overturning during heavy load handling.
