New MY24 Steiger tractors released

Case IH’s high horsepower tractors to get new models and features for 2024 model year

The AFS Connect Steiger was launched by Case IH in 2020 and now, three years on, Australian farmers will enjoy some new additions in the award-winning range such as new models, more productivity features, and design changes.

The MY24 Steiger range, officially launched at last week’s AgQuip field days in Gunnedah, will now go all the way up to 645hp, in several configurations:

  • Rowcrop Wheeled models from 425 to 525hp
  • Wideframe Wheeled models from 555 to 645hp
  • Scraper models 555 to 645hp
  • Quadtrac models from 475 to 645hp
  • Rowtrac models from 425 to 525hp

The MY24 AFS Connect Steiger range was officially launched at AgQuip 2023

“The Steiger has become the benchmark for power, efficiency and performance in high horsepower tractors, and the updates on this new range not only reinforce this reputation, but respond to the need for greater levels of productivity and sustainability within modern farming operations,” said Case IH ANZ Product Manager for High Horsepower Tractors, Justin Bryant.

Under the bonnet, there’s an updated FPT 13L cursor engine designed to provide greater power and faster engine response across each model along with improvements in fuel and fluid efficiency.

Some key upgrades in the MY24 Case IH Steiger range include:

  • Newly designed cab roof styling with integrated overhead grab rails for operator security
  • Updated cab interior with new headliner, overhead console and ram mount rails
  • The option of a second AFS Pro 1200 display option from factory
  • A new premium sound option, with an amplifier, tweeters, 6.5-inch subwoofer with ported box and additional speaker grilles
  • Enhanced LED lighting package with greater output options for 360-degree night lighting visibility
  • Additional front console storage

Official production of these tractors will commence in January 2024

“Built with greater power and fuel-efficiency, enhanced operator comfort, and further refinements to its remote management and data transfer capabilities, the MY24 Steiger line-up offers greater performance, versatility and reliability than ever before,” Bryant said.

Case IH anticipates full production of the MY24 Steiger range to commence in January 2024 with delivery expected later in the year.
