If you think 2023 was a great year for new releases in the farm machinery industry, wait till you hear what’s coming in 2024!
Some of the machinery we’re receiving this year are fresh from their global debuts at Agritechnica and other trade shows from last year, meaning the days of waiting forever for something to arrive on our shores are over.
From big tractors to sprayers to the most advanced technology we’ve ever seen, here is what to expect in the coming months ahead:
Case IH is always on the front foot when it comes to launching new products on to the market, always making sure local farmers have the latest and greatest equipment to do what they do best.
This year, we can expect to see at least two new tractors from the brand arriving Down Under.
Following the launch of Case IH’s flagship tractor range last year with output going up to a whopping 645hp, we have been informed that the Steiger 715, the largest model of the range offering a groundbreaking 715hp, is also heading our way.
At the AgQuip field days last year, the MY24 AFS Connect Steiger range made its debut, boasting a number of upgrades. Some of the improvements include more power, updated cab interior, enhanced lighting package, and more.
The new models are expected to go into production from January 2024 and arrive in Australia later this year.
Case IH has also shared with us that a new Puma tractor model will be launched in 2024, with more details to be released later in the year.
Farmers can expect to see quite a few new things from the German manufacturer this year, including new tractors and a new sprayer.
Fendt’s 600 Vario series is a completely new range that was released at the Agritechnica 2023 trade show in Hanover, Germany last year, and is confirmed to make its way to our shores this year.
The 600 Vario series fills a gap in the brand’s tractor offering in the mid to high horsepower range, with models offering 149 to 209hp, making it suitable for a wide range of applications including arable farming, grassland, transport and loading with a front-end loader fitted.
According to Fendt, designers took inspiration from nature and the animal kingdom when designing the 600 Vario, to make it strong like an ant with its high payload of up to 5.8 tonnes; agile as a hare with its excellent maneuverability; durable like a camel with its brand new AGCO engine providing exceptional fuel efficiency; powerful like a sled dog with its superior pulling power and traction, among others.
Stay tuned for more information on when Aussie farmers can expect to see this new series on our shores…

The sprayers range from 290hp to 369hp and offer capacities from 3400 litres to 4900 litres. Boom sizes will range from 28m to 40m.
The Rogator 900 is a rear boom sprayer with two clearances, from 143cm up to 193cm adjustable in 45 seconds.
The VisioPlus cab is borrowed from the Fendt 700 Vario tractors, offering an unobstructed view of the crop.
The Fendt Rogator 900 was also released locally in 2023 but stock will start arriving at dealerships in 2024.
Distributed by PFG Australia in the country, South Korean brand, Kioti, is continuing to make its mark in the local market.
It plans to launch an upgraded tractor as well as new zero turn mowers in the new year.
Kioti’s flagship tractor range, the HX series, was released locally in 2023 and we had the chance to take it for a spin in scenic Mansfield last year.
PFG Australia has confirmed that an enhanced model, the HX1402 will be launched in 2024, with several upgrades including a new LED lighting package, hydraulic top link for 3-point linkage, rear wheel weights, cabin suspension and easy-stop transmission function.
Kioti has confirmed that it will be bringing its ZXD diesel-powered zero-turn mowers to Australia in 2024. It will feature components Kioti users will be familiar with, and is equipped with a 1.2-litre diesel engine and direct drive transaxles and runs seamlessly without relying on a drive belt.
Customers can choose between a 61-inch or 72-inch deck, both featuring a rugged frame, a shaft-driven reinforced 7-gauge fabricated steel deck, and semi-pneumatic front casters for superior durability.
Japanese brand, Kubota, is also getting ready to release a whole range of new machines into the market, including a utility vehicle, a skid steer loader and a range of attachments.
Adding to Kubota’s tried and tested utility vehicle range is the RTV-X1130 which is a long bed model with a large cargo bed for increased capacity. The cargo bed is 6-foot long and has a load capacity of 550kg, allowing users to carry plenty of tools and stuff around.
Its unique ProKonvert functionality lets users convert the cargo bed to a flatbed by folding the tailgate and two side panels down without the use of any tools.
The RTV-X1130 is expected to arrive in the country in March or April of this year.
The Kubota SVL75-3 is replacing the SVL75-2 with a raft of improvements including a 15 per cent increase in productivity over its predecessor, Kubota claimed.
It has a Tier 4 final/Stage V engine that provides nine per cent higher torque. Some other notable features include a one-piece fully pressurised cabin that eliminates dust, water and noise; a new LCD 7-inch touch screen monitor with jog dial and keyless passcode start; improved vent layout for optimised cooling or heating, integrated reverse camera and fully compatible Bluetooth radio.
Thanks to more powerful engines and components, the SVL75-3 offers higher lift heights, travel speeds, hydraulic flow and operating capacity over the SVL75-2.
Kubota said the SVL75-3 is expected to arrive in early 2024.
In conjunction with the launch of the SVL75-3, Kubota will also be bringing in a range of attachments from the company’s manufacturing hub in Kansas, United States.
The attachments have been designed and matched to Kubota’s skid steer and compact loader range providing seamless integration and optimised performance compared to third party attachments in the marketplace.
The new attachments are:
Land Pride SC6072 extreme-duty skid cutter designed to match the Kubota SVL75 series. It has been designed for land-clearing purposes and can clear grass, weeds, shrubs, bush and even small trees.
Land Pride SRT series skid tillers that can be used with Kubota’s compact loader range for seedbed or garden plot soil preparation. There are two models in the range with widths of 62 inches and 76 inches.
Land Pride BB30 series box blades for rough or precision grading. The two models in the series offer widths of 84 and 96 inches. GPS technology and laser are available for precision grading applications to accurately control site preparation and flat-work operations. The dual-plane grader will automatically lift and tilt as it moves over the ground for precision grading.
Massey Ferguson’s 'new era' journey continues with its MF 9S tractor series, now also its largest tractor range.
Announced late last year, the series has six models altogether with power output ranging from 285hp to 425hp.
It inherits the properties of Massey Ferguson’s 'new era' tractors, which were first produced in 2020, beginning with the MF 8S, which won Tractor of the Year that same year.
The MF 9S is also the first tractor range to feature the new Massey Ferguson logo which was unveiled almost two years ago, the company added.
In addition to offering all the tried-and-true features that its award-winning siblings do, the MF 9S also offers an elevated user experience with its range of innovative technology, Massey Ferguson said.
The range is expected to touchdown on local soil sometime this year.
Distributed by PFG Australia, Maschio Gaspardo is a renowned Italian manufacturer of faming implements.
