ACE Machinery House might be the new kid on the block in the heavy equipment market, but it is already making some bold claims and selling a decent amount of its offerings right across the country.
The business, based in Bayswater North in Victoria, specialises in wheel loaders and excavators which it imports from a manufacturer in China.
Its wheel loaders range from 5.2 tonnes to 17 tonnes, all powered by genuine Cummins engines.
Its AL400 wheel loader has a 13-tonne operating capacity and according to ACE Machinery House, is the most powerful loader in its class.
“We specify the aftercooled 6BT engine with the AL400 which is the same engine we run in the AL350. The addition of the aftercooler upgraded turbocharger and fuel system give us 180hp and 750Nm,” says ACE Machinery House sales manager, Mark Chandler.
“It’s a big increase in power - they push very well and give lots of breakout force.”
With the AL400, the business is targeting a broad market which includes farmers, construction workers, owner operators and more.
According to Chandler, ACE Machinery House sets itself apart from other distributors in the market by bringing in units with quality, well-known components without the hefty price tags.
“The engines are genuine Cummins engines, covered by Cummins Australia," Chandler says.
“That’s why we can give a three year parts and labour warranty - the machines will do the time without any problems at all.”
The AL400 has a 4-tonne lift capacity and comes standard with a quick hitch for quick change of attachments; a two cubic-metre general purpose bucket and a pallet fork attachment.
The air-conditioned cab is ROPS, FOPS and TOPS certified and features a reverse camera, 7-inch LCD screen, single joystick pilot control, a hydraulic lock and inching control.
The AL400 wheel loader is priced at $62,900 plus GST.
“We’ve been selling a lot of loaders and customers can recognise a quality loader when they see one, so the loaders pretty much sell themselves,” Chandler says.
“They’re very well appointed, very well supported and at the end of the day that’s what people are looking for. Why spend more than you have to?”
