TMA conference pushed back

Annual convergence of farm machinery dealers and manufacturers will not go ahead as planned on July 21

The Tractor and Machinery Association of Australia (TMA) has announced the postponement of its annual conference, originally scheduled to take place on July 21 at the Hyatt Place in Essendon, Victoria.

Every year, the event gathers key farm machinery manufacturers, dealers and other agricultural service providers to discuss the state of the agriculture industry and machinery market.

There has been no new date set but the organisation said it will keep delegates informed.

“Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, the TMA have made the difficult decision to postpone this year’s Towards 2030 Conference, which will no longer take place on July 21 in Melbourne,” TMA said.

“We will keep you posted when we are able to determine a replacement date.

“Thanks to all for your ongoing support.”

The TMA conference joins a growing list of agriculture industry events affected by the spread of the novel coronavirus.
