TMA conference scheduled for July

Annual farm machinery conference to be held on July 20 in Melbourne, tickets on sale now

UPDATED JULY 23, 2021: The TMA has fixed a new date for its conference, now scheduled to be held on September 14, 2021 at the Hyatt Place in Essendon Fields in Melbourne.

The Tractor and Machinery Association of Australia (TMA) has fixed its annual conference for July 20, 2021, after a year of hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The conference will once again be held at the Hyatt Place Hotel Melbourne in Essendon Fields, with tickets priced from $434.50 per delegate. The tickets will include access to the all-day conference, dinner and a complimentary TMA/Agriview State of the Industry report that provides a detailed analysis of the year 2020 in machinery sales.

TMA's annual conference is a must attend event for those working in the agricultural machinery industry

The theme for this year’s conference is "Towards 2030", where TMA and guest speakers will take a look at the challenges that lie ahead for the Australian agricultural industry, in line with the NFF’s (National Farmers Federation) goal of $100 billion in farm gate production by 2030.

Some of the speakers confirmed for the conference include:

  • Emma Germano - President of the Victorian Farmers Federation (VFF)
  • Mick Keogh- Deputy Chair of the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC)
  • Justin Smirk - Senior Economist at Westpac
  • Alan Kirsten - Managing Director of Agriview
  • Lachlan Drummond -Managing Director of Redhanded Communications
  • Sam Kekovich- Australia's "Lambassador", who will be in charge of after-dinner entertainment.
