The team at farmmachinerysales.com.au have kept themselves busy this year, checking out and scrutinising a varied range of machines to keep you informed while having plenty of fun at the same time. Win win!
From tractors to air drills to electric bikes, here are the top reviews that caught your attention this year:

The MultiOne mini loader is one of those machines that make you go “I want one.” Manufactured in Italy, the loader can pretty much be whatever you want it to be, thanks to its ability to be equipped with over 100 attachments. So much so we’ve likened it to the Thermomix which is a multifunctional kitchen tool that can replace a range of kitchen equipment and can cook up just about anything you want it to.
We looked at the range topping 8.4S model which offers 40hp and 72l/min hydraulic flow for an efficient loading operation.
Thanks to its compact size and versatility, the MultiOne compact loader has also found its way into other rather unexpected and niche industries such as beekeeping, where beekeepers will use the loaders equipped with forks to move hive pallets around.

When we heard about the Challenger MT700 tracked tractor arriving on Aussie shores last year, we couldn’t wait to check the rig out, and finally had the opportunity to do so earlier this year.
This is no ordinary tractor. It features a full crawler track undercarriage which makes traversing undulating terrain much easier compared to conventional wheeled tractors.
With the MT700 series, Challenger has taken a ground up approach and redesigned the tractors from scratch so nothing is borrowed from its predecessors, probably except the badge and the paint job. Everything from the undercarriage to controls in the cab, and from engines to transmissions have been given a facelift.
In addition to being aesthetically pleasing and very sturdy, the Challenger MT700 tractors are also incredibly comfortable and easy to drive.

The NZ-made UBCO electric bike is the perfect alternative to larger and noisier ATV, UTV or off-road bikes.
It can do what those units can do except it is way quieter as it is electrically powered. The benefit of this is farmers won’t scare livestock as they ride through their paddocks.
It is also significantly cheaper to run as no fuel is needed to power the bike. Another cool feature of the UBCO electric bike is its ability to charge devices on the go if required.

Farmmachinerysales.com.au reviewer, Kim Woods, ventured out into the paddocks of Albury to check out the Duncan AS5200 air seeder.
The Duncan brand which originated in NZ was acquired by Giltrap Ag last year which meant Australian farmers had better access to Duncan’s range of machines.
The Duncan AS5300 was designed primarily for under sowing crops and pasture renovation and has proven popular with local growers for its simplicity, durability and accuracy.
One of the key features of the Duncan AS5300 is its ease of calibration which can easily be done from inside the tractor cab.

In a volatile tractor market, the compact tractor segment always manages to stay afloat as there is never a lack of buyers in the market for smaller rigs – from hobby farmers to large property owners.
Although not the cheapest brand on the market, John Deere still remains one of the most popular brand of tractors in Australia and the world. After all, over 100 years of history in farm machinery manufacturing can’t be wrong!
The 1025R produces 25hp of power and is an extremely versatile rig suitable for just about any job on the small farm or property. It can be used with a front loader for stockpiling purposes, or equipped with a mower to give the yard a little trim.
In addition, the machine is such a simple one to operate, anyone in the family can hop on and give it a go.
