When it comes to seeing the latest machinery debuts or emerging global agricultural trends, Agritechnica remains unmatched. Held biennially in Hannover, Germany, it is widely regarded as the world’s leading agricultural machinery show.
The 2025 edition, which ran from November 9 to 15, featured 24 pavilions packed with equipment ranging from tractors and harvesters to seeders and telehandlers. In total, the show spans an impressive 40 hectares which is roughly 40 football fields.
Major names such as John Deere, Case IH, CLAAS, New Holland, Fendt and others drew crowds with large, eye-catching stands showcasing both newly launched and updated models.
Below are several of the tractors that made their debut at the show. Availability for the Australian market is yet to be confirmed.

A decade after its initial release, the Case IH Optum series has been taken to new heights with three new models, including the flagship Optum 440, which delivers 435 hp.
Unveiled at Agritechnica with a dramatic curtain-drop, the Optum 440 is powered by the new FPT Cursor 9 engine, offering greater muscle and travel speeds of up to 60km/h.
Other updates include a new independent front axle suspension system, an optional fully integrated central tyre inflation system and a full suite of integrated precision technologies. These include Connectivity Included (connectivity without subscription), telematics, ISOBUS compatibility and Tractor Implement Management.
The Optum 440 also collected a Farm Machine of the Year 2026 award in the Upper Medium Size Tractor category.

The Fendt Vario 1000 series also celebrated its 10-year milestone in 2025, and the brand marked the occasion with its fourth-generation 1000 Vario series.
The line-up now offers four new high-powered machines delivering between 426 and 550 hp.
Among the updates are a new lighting concept, an expanded power range and a dual-wheel hub option for fitting dual tyres. All models also benefit from Fendt DynamicPerformance, which provides an extra 30hp when needed.
A major talking point is the lighting package, which can deliver up to 120,500 lumens — the most ever offered on a Fendt tractor — allowing operators to maximise productivity, especially during shorter winter days.

While not as powerful as the XERION 12 launched previously, the new AXION 9 series matches its larger sibling in comfort, technology and automation.
Delivering between 330 and 450 hp, the AXION 9 replaces the existing AXION 900 series and continues as the flagship AXION line. Powered by the latest Cursor 9 six-cylinder, 8.7-litre engine, the range spans five wheeled tractors and two Terra Trac crawler models.
The new AXION offers a more comfortable working environment thanks to a redesigned cabin with three cubic metres of space and an exceptionally low noise level of just 66 dB(A). A 12-inch main screen is integrated into the armrest, with a second optional 12-inch touch terminal.
Automation is the standout feature. When paired with the AgXeed VCU system via ISOBUS, the tractor can carry out pre-planned field tasks such as obstacle avoidance, headland turns and implement management with minimal operator intervention. This represents Autonomy Level 2.
The AXION 9.450 Terra Trac received the Tractor of the Year 2026 award in the HighPower category.

Unveiled at Agritechnica 2025, the new Deutz-Fahr 8 Series TTV is billed as the most advanced tractor the brand has ever produced.
Built in Germany, the two new models — the 8310 and 8340 TTV — feature HVO-compatible engines delivering up to 1398 Nm of torque, along with extended 1000-hour service intervals.
The hydraulic system includes a load-sensing pump providing 220l/min, a clean-oil circuit and a rear lift capacity of 12,000kg.
Inside the cab, operators will find a high-comfort environment with features such as a seat massage function, automatic climate control and multiple displays showing key operating data.
Connectivity and precision technologies are central to the new series, with Auto Guidance, ISOBUS, XTEND remote display capability and the silver-award-winning Tractor Assisted Guidance System (TAGS), which offers real-time data integration for enhanced automation.

JCB used the show to launch the newest additions to its Fastrac series — the 6260 and 6300 — marking a major evolution of its high-speed tractor platform.
Built on a stronger, narrower chassis with improved visibility, the new models feature full hydro-pneumatic suspension and heavy-duty axles for improved stability.
Key upgrades include a high-capacity hydraulic system (up to 410l/min on the 6300), an 11-tonne rear linkage, an optional front PTO and linkage, and integrated central tyre inflation for fast transitions between field and road settings.
The new iCON interface introduces dual-screen operation, advanced ISOBUS functionality, operator profiles and improved GPS guidance.
A standout feature is the intelligent steering system, which automatically shifts between two-wheel and four-wheel steering based on operating conditions. The optional Twin Steer system controls both axles independently for superior implement tracking.
The Fastrac 6000 was the winner of the ‘Sustainable Tractor of the Year’ award.

New Holland pushed the well-known T7 series further with three new T7 XD models delivering between 360 and 435 hp — the first time the range has entered the 400hp class.
The T7.360 XD, T7.390 XD and T7.440 XD all run a Stage V 8.7-litre FPT Cursor 9 six-cylinder engine paired with an updated Auto Command™ CVT capable of speeds up to 60 km/h.
The tractors are designed for large-scale operations and contractors, with the versatility to handle heavy draft work, high-payload haulage and combination implement tasks.
Maximum gross vehicle weight is 19,000 kg, while rear lift capacity has increased by 8 per cent to 11,942 kg. A MegaFlow dual pump delivers 360 L/min of hydraulic flow, a 67 per cent increase over the T7 HD.
For the first time in a New Holland tractor, an integrated central tyre inflation system is available, allowing quick adjustments between field and road pressures.

John Deere unveiled the second-generation autonomy package for its 9RX tractors, building on the launch of the 9RX 830 in 2024 — still the world’s most powerful commercial tractor.
The enhanced autonomy system uses 16 cameras for full 360-degree visibility and allows for more precise depth calculation over longer distances. This enables the tractor to pull larger implements and operate at higher speeds with greater confidence.
John Deere’s broader autonomy roadmap builds on core technologies including AutoTrac™, JDLink™, G5 displays, advanced steering systems, precision seeding and remote monitoring of field operations.
