TYM announces new tractors

TYM tractors has announced the launch of several new tractor models into the Australian market – the 40hp T413, the 75hp T75, 90hp T90 and the relaunch of the T273 with more attractive pricing.

The new models were announced during a recent visit to the South Korean manufacturing facilities by local distributor, Inlon.

A group of Inlon staff and key dealers visited TYM’s 40,000 square-metre manufacturing facility in Iksan city; the front-end loader and mid-mount mower factory in Noseong, South Chungcheong; and the state-of-the-art R&D centre. Following several test drives and inspections, Inlon said its dealers were confident that the new tractors will be a popular addition to the range in Australia.

“The TYM T413 HST tractor, with its 38.4hp Japanese Yanmar diesel engine, is available in both ROPS and air-conditioned cabin models,” said Inlon Sales and Marketing Manager, Gary Surman.

“In fact, the TYM T413 brings to the Australian market the best price sub 40hp four-wheel-drive compact tractor available with an air-conditioned cabin—a perfect upgrade for the hot summer ahead."

Some features on the T413 tractor include a 3-range HST transmission, 1200kg linkage lift capacity, a flat operator’s platform, level-lift quick-hitch loader, 4-in-1 bucket, and an integrated loader joystick with 3rd function.

Pricing for the T413, which comes standard with a 4-in-1 loader, starts from $32,900 including GST.

Moving up the horsepower range, the utility T75 will be available this year, while the T95 model is expected to be available in the first quarter of 2019.

“Much of the basic ROPS utility tractor market is currently dominated by budget Indian and Chinese made products,” Surman said.

“The dealers at the launch told us their customers are looking for alternative good value tractors that will stand the test of time. TYM offers a competitively priced high quality product that is completely made in South Korea.”

The T75 and T95 come with 12 x 12 shuttle shift transmission, a flat operator’s platform, a level-lift Euro-hitch loader and a 4-in-1 bucket. Pricing for the range starts from $44,800 including GST.

In addition to the new models, Inlon has also relaunched the existing TYM T273 tractor with new pricing.

“The T273 compact tractor was the best-selling TYM tractor in Australia ever, but it was recently overtaken by the T313 model because of the extra horsepower and features on the T313," Surman said.

“However, the T273 has returned with a great new price point for a strictly limited stock promotion to show up its big brother and take back the mantle.

“The T273 and T313, with their Japanese Mitsubishi engines, are the strongest compact tractors on the market and come with side-by-side HST pedals and a level-lift quick-hitch loader with 4-in-1 bucket.”

Pricing for the new T273 starts from $25,916 including GST.

All TYM tractors come with a 3-year warranty plan, Surman added.

“South Korean manufacturing is renowned on the world stage for its quality made and well-designed products, backed by heavy research and development investment,” he said.

“In fact, South Korea’s capital investment in R&D is among the highest in the world as a percentage of GDP. This pays dividends in the extra features you get for your dollars and the quality build of TYM tractors.
