TYM has launched the new T194 sub-compact tractor in Australia, which the company says will be a perfect upgrade from a ride-on mower for small acreage or hobby farmers.
The unit will be available with either turf or industrial tyres and features a 19hp Japanese Yanmar 993cc diesel engine.
TYM’s tractors are distributed in Australia by NSW-based dealership, Inlon, who also distributes the Landini range of tractors as well as a range of specialty machinery and agricultural implements from around the world.
According to Inlon Sales and Marketing Manager, Gary Surman, the TYM T194 is suited for a variety of applications such as digging holes and moving items around the property, not just mowing the lawn.
“The tractor weighs an impressive 650kg excluding attachments,” Surman says.
“Most of its weight comes from the cast iron components rather than die-cast aluminium, delivering weight to the transmission and driveline where you need it most.”
The T194 has a roll-over protective structure (ROPS), which folds away for storage in a small shed or for when working under trees.
The tractor’s hydrostatic transmission offers simple variable forward and reverse drive via independent pedals. Operators can access the platform from both sides and the flat wide operator’s area enhances comfort. The Yanmar engine offers lower revs for a smoother ride.
Options include a front end level lift loader with a 4-in-1 bucket, and a mid-mounted mower cutting deck with three blades that produces a smooth, even lawn finish.
The T194 is priced from $13,998 and comes with a three-year warranty.
