TYM new rig “a compact on steroids”
Inlon brought in new tractor model from Korea in time for ChristmasLocal heavy machinery distributor, Inlon, said its latest offering – the 24.5hp TYM T265 tractor is a “compact tractor on steroids” due to its ability to handle heavy loads despite its compact size and light weight.
Weighing just 865kg, the tractor is capable of lifting 700kg at the rear 3-point linkage, according to Inlon.
Despite its lifting capacity and grunt, it produces very little noise, the company added.
“You always get a lot of tractor for your dollars with TYM, but you certainly won’t get a lot of noise with the T265,” said Inlon’s Sales & Marketing Manager, Gary Surman.
“Its Tier-4 naturally aspirated 3 cylinder water-cooled diesel engine is extremely quiet. The sleek bonnet gives excellent visibility of the front loader bucket, while the new lighting and instrumentation panel add modern style touches.”

The T265 comes with two separate hydraulic systems to allow plenty of flow and power for implements and attachments.
It also has an independent rear and mid PTO for rotary hoes, slashers and mid mount mowers. Both PTO and cruise control are activated via push buttons on the dash panel.
“The hydrostatic transmission has two ranges with two independent side-by-side HST pedals for forward and reverse, giving advanced ergonomic operation,” Surman said.
“With the brake pedals located on the opposite side of the HST pedals, you can use your brakes for ‘brake assist turning’ when required for extra tight manoeuvring.”
The T265 features wide industrial tyres for extra stability and traction for slopes and front-end loader work, Inlon added.
The semi-flat operator platform provides enough space and clearance for operators to get on or off the tractor easily from either side. The two-post ROPS frame offers safety and is foldable if required.
Just in time for the festive season, Inlon has announced a special Christmas package for the T265. Customers can get the new model, complete with a level-lift quick-hitch loader and 4-in-1 bucket, for $22,990 (including GST) - a generous $4300 off RRP.
Inlon is also offering a 3 year warranty plan for the T265.
