Valtra gears up for new tractor launch
Brand new utility tractor series to drop on August 28Finnish tractor brand, Valtra, is getting ready to unveil a brand new range of workhorses that will complement its existing F, A, N, T and S-series of tractors.
Not much is known yet about the new series except that it offers outputs between 100hp and 140hp and will come in brand new colours never before offered in Valtra’s range.
The new tractors will also offer smart new features that will be made available on other tractor series along with new services, Valtra added.

Several posts on Valtra’s social media pages suggest that the new series could be named the G-series or feature the letter 'G' in its name.
One post reads: “28 August will be the greatest day of the year – a brand-new Valtra series will kickstart our new generation of tractors with a banG!”
At first glance, the post doesn’t seem to give anything away but note the letter 'g' in the word bang has been capitalised.
In another post, Valtra put up a picture of an eye test chart with the middle row listing all five letters representing Valtra’s current tractor ranges but is missing a letter in the middle, indicating the new range will sit right in the middle of its offerings.
To the side of the chart, a line reads: “See what’s missing?” with all letters in white font except the letter 'G' in the word 'missing', which was in red, further confirming the letter’s role in the new range’s nomenclature.
Valtra’s social media images also showed close-ups of the new tractor with a copper paint job, which is certainly a very unusual colour scheme for tractors.
For the first time, Valtra will be unveiling its new tractor series online with members of the public invited to witness the launch event live.
“We are organising the launch online partly due to the special situation this year, but also to allow everyone the opportunity to participate,” said Valtra Communications & Digital Marketing Senior Manager, Pamela Engels.
The new products and services will be presented with videos, texts and images in a virtual launch room, where visitors can view the material in any order they like.
Following the virtual launch, Valtra will kick off its SmartTour where the company will be presenting the new tractors throughout Europe. Customers will have the chance to test drive the new models along with other Valtra products.
The launch of Valtra's new tractor series will take place on Friday August 28, 5pm AEST (10am Finnish time) on valtralive.com. Those interested are encouraged to sign up for the event where they’ll stand a chance to win some great prizes.
