NSW farm machinery distributor, Inlon, established its business back in 1984 importing and distributing the Universal Farmliner tractor brand from Brasov, Romania.
Today, production for the tractor range has ceased, but Inlon decided to trademark the 'Farmliner' name in Australia and keep it alive in a range of smaller implements the company imports from Europe and around the world.
The range currently consists of a rotary rake, rotary hoes and mulchers which, according to Inlon, represents good value for money.
"It's giving our dealers and farmers who still want a European made product, simply value for money," says Inlon Sales and Marketing Manager, Gary Surman.
Its flagship product is the Farmliner Star 350-9 Rotary Rake which features a tandem axle and removable tyne arms with a working width of 3.55m. It retails for $6600 including GST.
There is also a series of rotary hoes in the Farmliner range, which working width ranges from 1.2m to 2.3m.
Surman adds there are plans for Inlon to expand the range to include more implements such as fertiliser spreaders.
