Waringa Distribution has opened a new distribution facility in Wagga Wagga, which will allow the company to service more clients along the east coast of Australia.
The leading equipment distributor, headquartered in Perth, has grown rapidly over the past decade and the new facility will complement a smaller base in Horsham (Vic) where several brands are already assembled for machinery dealers and customers.
The Wagga Wagga facility has a dedicated workshop area for assembly and servicing, a hardstand, as well as a parts holding centre. The current staff count is seven, which is expected to double in the next year as operations ramp up.

Once the facility is fully operational, Waringa plans to expand and establish another distribution centre in the northern NSW/southern Queensland region.
“Our core focus with the facility is to increase our servicing support, including our response times, through to growers,” said Waringa general manager, Sam Abbott.
“The Wagga Wagga distribution centre will mirror our western operations, conducting all assembly and pre-delivery work and providing a centralised parts distribution centre to support the whole network.
“We commenced with dealers on the east coast in 2016 and the business has since had a four-fold increase. We started with Agri-Spread and we now have the six brands we are managing.
“In recent times, there has been good market traction with the Elmer’s grain harvest bins and the Equalizer seeding bars and carts, there has been rapid growth with the Gregoire Besson tillage range, and we are now looking forward to moving forward strongly with the Geringhoff header fronts.”
