Making its debut at the 2019 Wimmera Machinery Field Days, Gason's NT8000 planter bar has a working width of 8m but folds to just 3.5m for ease of transport from paddock to paddock without the need for an escort.
Gason has designed the NT8000 to be compatible with a range of its tillage tools and press wheels including the ScariTill spring tynes, HydraTill hydraulic tynes, frame-mounted press wheels and parallelogram press wheels on 7-inch, 10-inch & 12-inch spacings.
It is also designed to work seamlessly with Gason's range of trailing or mounted air seeders for sowing.
Built and designed in Australia, the NT8000 features a heavy duty frame consisting of 100mm x 100mm x 9mm RHS steel bars for durability.
Watch the video as Gason design engineer, Tom McCluskey, gives us the lowdown on the new planter and how it is built to suit Australian conditions.
