WMFD 19: High-tech Case IH Axial-Flow 250 combine breaks cover

New 8250 continues the Axial-Flow legacy of efficient harvesting, but with more automation than ever before...

Case IH's Axial-Flow 8250 combine harvester is about as close to an autonomous harvesting machine one can find on the current market.

Recently launched at the 2019 Wimmera Machinery Field Days, the 8250 is chockful with technology that take harvesting efficiency to the next level.

One of the key features on the 250 series is the AFS Harvest Command combine automation system which consists of a number of sensors throughout the combine that continuously monitor the machine and adjusts different settings to maximise combine performance.

"Even experienced operators get tired throughout the day, so the AFS Harvest Command is designed to keep that high performance all throughout the day and across varying conditions," said Case IH ANZ Product Manager for Hay and Harvest, Tim Slater.

Watch the video as Slater explains the benefits and key features of the revolutionary Axial-Flow 250 combine series.
