Agrifac unveils new Condor Endurance II sprayer
Next-gen sprayer has boosted operator comfort and a host of user-friendly features, says Dutch manufacturer…Netherlands-based agricultural machinery manufacturer Agrifac recently pulled the covers off its new sprayer, the Condor Endurance II.
The company says it's been working closely with its customers since the release of the first Condor Endurance in 2015, with the new model benefitting from a raft of updates and improvements.
The Condor Endurance II now features three zones: the front of the sprayer around and below the cab is reserved for filling, including the induction hopper, the main tank, water, AdBlue and diesel; the centre of the sprayer contains the tanks and storage; while the rear of the sprayer features the pump systems and electronics, for easy maintenance.
The maker says this model can spray eight hectares on one tank at 1000 litres per hectare, or 160 hectares at 50 litres per hectare, at working speeds of up to 36km/h.
Other features include a new LED lighting package, mudguards that follow the wheels when turning, and a suspended cab for excellent operator comfort.
Both spraying and GPS displays are combined in the one screen – just one way in which Agrifac says it's gone to great lengths to enhance the intuitive, user-friendly nature of the Condor Endurance II.
Agrifac also says the sprayer's StabiloPlus chassis was designed purely for self-propelled spraying, and can handle steep grades while maintaining ground clearance of 138cm.
Meanwhile, the GreenFlowPlus Agrifac pump and spray system is now more compact and features CAN-controlled valves and a flow meter to optimise flow levels and direction.
The separate filling station at the front of the vehicle includes a high-capacity centrifugal-fill pump for quick and easy filling, while track widths vary from 190 to 460cm. All models have a standard track width adjustment of 100cm.
The model accepts tyres with a diameter of up to 230cm, which means lower required tyre pressures and, in turn, reduced soil compaction, says Agrifac.
Tank capacity is, like its predecessor, 8000 litres, while booms range from 24 metres to 55 metres. However, the new Condor Endurance II can be driven on the road at speeds of up to 60km/h, and features the completely new three-zone design concept.
