Brown & Hurley to showcase HARDI ALPHA evo

The ag equipment dealer is set to host a series of demonstration days in Queensland for Hardi’s latest self-propelled sprayer

Agricultural equipment dealer Brown & Hurley will soon stage three customer demonstrations days in rural Queensland to showcase the latest HARDI ALPHA evo self-propelled sprayer.

To be held in Biloela, Emerald, and Roma, the days will allow customers to climb into the cab of a new HARDI ALPHA 4100 evo with 36.5m Ali Boom and try it for themselves, and to see the benefits of Hardi’s H-SELECT nozzle technology.

H-SELECT co-ordinates up to four different nozzles at each nozzle body to continually maintain the required target rate across the boom and speed range. Hardi says this rapid, blended switching between nozzle combinations means H-SELECT can achieve a target rate accuracy of 90 per cent or better over the entire paddock, virtually eliminating patches of over- or under-dosage.

The HARDI ALPHA evo itself is said to have a fine front to rear balance and a modest total weight of under 15 tonnes when fully loaded, ensuring an optimal weight/capacity ratio and high performance even in wet field conditions. It also has a high ground clearance of 165cm, making light work of spraying taller crops like sweet corn and sunflowers.

“Coming out to events like these is a great opportunity for us to support our dealers and also get close to end-users to hear the real feedback,” said Zac Harnett, Hardi Australia’s National Sales Manager.

According to Jeff Saunders, Brown & Hurley Agriculture, the demo days will prove hugely valuable for prospective customers.

“We are doing this event because we believe giving customers a trial run on the machines before buying allows them to get a better feel for the equipment under real operating conditions, rather than in a dealership,” he said.

“Also, as the technology changes within these machines, we can show our customers hands-on how they can benefit from these techs in the field.”

Brown & Hurley says it will be giving away some free merchandise at the days, while attendees will also go into a draw to win a $1000 lighting package.
