Case IH and Royal Easter Show celebrate milestones in 2022

Case IH will once again play a key role in supporting one of Sydney's most iconic ag shows which organiser, Royal Agricultural Society of NSW (RAS), is marking 200 years since its inception

As per previous years, Case IH is preparing to lend a fleet of tractors and farm machinery to help with the set up and running of the Royal Easter Show, but this year is a little bit different and special for both parties.

Royal Easter Show organiser, RAS, is celebrating its 200th anniversary this year and Case IH is also marking its 180th anniversary in 2022.

“We’re looking forward to helping the Royal Agricultural Society of NSW mark its 200th birthday, in what is a big year for our brand as well,” said Case IH Australia and New Zealand General Manager, Pete McCann.

“To be able to play a role in what will be the biggest Show yet for the RAS is a unique opportunity and we also value the chance to assist with the running of the event through the provision of machinery and staff.”

At this year’s Show, Case IH will supply a fleet of Farmall and Maxxum tractors to assist with the daily set up of the main arena to support the myriad of events that will be hosted across the 12 days of the show. A Case IH Magnum, Optum, Puma, hay baler and the futuristic Orchard Cab will also be on display.

Case IH will have machinery participating in a parade that will travel from Parramatta Park to the Sydney Showground on Saturday, April 9, and the brand will also be represented in Bicentenary Street Parades that will occur three times daily through the showground precinct for the duration of the event.

“Case IH, as we mark 180 years of the Case and International Harvester brands, appreciates just how important history is to a company or organisation like the RAS,” McCann said.

“It’s important to honour that journey, reflect on what has come before and how that influences the future. We share with the RAS a commitment to and passion for agriculture and rural and regional Australia, and we look forward to celebrating the legacy of an organisation that has done so much to promote farming and farmers for the past 200 years.”
