Case IH combine tops value retention

Case IH 140 series Axial-Flow harvesters trim rivals for long-term value

Heavy equipment analysts EquipmentWatch has judged the Case IH 140 series Axial-Flow combines as holding their value better than any other comparable product.

It is the second time in three years EquipmentWatch has identified the Case IH Axial-Flow 6140 as retaining the highest percentage of its original value after a five-year period.

Rivals included the John Deere S600, New Holland CR, Massey Ferguson 9500 and Gleaner S8.

Case IH product manager for Hay and Harvest, Tim Slater, welcomed the recognition for the combine harvester.

"We know the productivity and efficiency benefits of the 140 series, but this award illustrates the value associated with investing in one of these combines as well," Slater said.

"We're all looking forward to the release of the new 50 series in Australia this year, but the 140 series continues to deliver across the board, has all the features you need and represents great value for money."

Highlights of the Case IH 140 range include controlling the speed and direction of residue from inside the cap, a two-speed electronic shift transmission and pivoting spout for better control of the grain flow when unloading.
