New Holland to offer Kongskilde ag products

Recent acquisition venture means an expansion of New Holland's agricultural product offering

New Holland parent company, CNH Industrial has announced it has bought out the grass and soil business of Kongskilde Industries, which is part of the Danish Group Dansk Landbrugs Grovvareselskab.

In addition to agricultural products such as ploughs and mowers, Kongskilde also offers a range of industrial solutions such as grain handling and conveying systems.

Kongskilde manufactures and sells its tillage, seeding and hay products under various brands including  Kongskilde, Överum and JF.

As a result of the acquisition, New Holland will be opening up a brand new product portfolio - tillage and seeding, as well as expanding its current hay tool range which already includes balers, rakes and mowers.

"This agreement will provide growth opportunities and create a strong platform to develop the Kongskilde business and its brands and we will also gradually integrate their products in the New Holland portfolio," says Brand President of New Holland Agriculture, Carlo Lambro.

"In the meantime, the Kongskilde dealer and importer network will remain the reference point for their customers."

New Holland will also take over the manufacturing assets of Kongskilde's tillage, seeding, hay and forage businesses which include two plants in Europe, located in Poland and Sweden; as well other facilities in the EMEA, APAC and NAFTA regions. The transaction is subject to various closing conditions, including regulatory approvals.
